Electroless Nickel Plating for Large Parts

Keystone Corporation specializes in the electroless nickel plating of large, heavy work pieces. Our process provides a completely uniform deposit, even on complex shapes, and improves wear and corrosion resistance on base materials.   In business for over 80 years, our staff is here to meet your manufacturing needs.

Electroless Plating is the process of applying a metallic layer to a substrate without the use of an external electrical charge.  Using a controlled autocatalytic reduction process, electroless plating deposits nickel on the component without the passage of an electrical current.  This plating creates surfaces that are both durable and attractive, making it the best choice to fight abrasion in copper, brass, steel, bronze, and aluminum alloys. Keystone Corporation offers this plating in both rack and barrel options and can process parts up to 10 feet in length that weigh up to 8,000 pounds.

Keystone's electroless nickel plating is used in a wide range of applications including:

  • Military
  • Aerospace
  • Communications
  • Automotive
  • Industrial Machinery
