COPPER PLATING

Keystone electroplated copper has long been used both as an engineering or decorative finish and as an undercoat for other plated metals. Keystone electroplated copper is a plating process that provides the best copper adhesion and highest purity copper plating for our customer's parts.

Keystone copper plating is often specified as a coating on steel parts.  We have had copper thickness specifications from customers ranging from .00005" to .001". Properties of electroplated copper deposits that are of interest for various applications which include soft ductile deposits, easily buffed to a high luster, excellent electrical conductivity and solderability.
